Adamantine

So here's a possible NPC for a storyline of mine set in the world...
When Viorr Maelak, head of the Dark Lanters and spymaster of Breland wanted assistance, he realised that everyone could be bought for a price. In order to truly be able to trust someone, he had House Cannith create two special warforged to serve as his left and right hands. Warforged inculcated with loyalty would be trustworthy, and he made sure of this by overseeing every step of their creation.

The two warforged were created primarily of two special metals, a yin and yang as it were.

His right hand was Adamantine, a fighter/psion. Comprised mainly of the metal of his namesake, Adamantine was dark and quiet. He was also hard and unyielding, the inquisitor to serve Viorr. House Cannith technicians had recently perfected the imprinting of a warforged with psi-crystals, but it was never deemed economically viable for large-scale production. However, they performed such a creation at the behest of Viorr. Breland paid handsomely, of course.

The adamantine plates overlapping his body protect the tracework of psicrystal beneath, but whenever he uses his powers, the crystals glow a deep blue, sometimes shining through the cracks of his armour. He is loyal to Breland (and therefore the the spymaster), almost irrationally so, and he would do anything to protect his country. He uses his abilities to interrogate, and if needed, to delve into the brains of those he suspects enemies of the state.

As of late, he is worried for his 'sister', the other who was created for the spymaster, Mithral. He worries that she is slowly losing her loyalties to the country, and though he wishes to protect her, if he ever needed to choose between her and his country, he would choose the latter.
